August marks the winding down of summer and the last great gasp of those beautious flowers and fluttering butterflies as they give way to make room for Autumn. With the start of July comes fireworks and a memory of the courage it took so many years ago to found our great nation. Let us not lose sight of the bravery exhibited by our forefathers as well as our sons, and daughters, husbands and wives who still serve proudly in our military to deliver on the promise made more than 200 years ago; life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. So this 4th of July tear yourself away from the barbeque, the pool, and even your scrapbook table to give pause and give thanks to those serving selflessly in our armed forces.
