The votes are in and the nominees are getting ready for what will surely go down as one of scrapbooking's most memorable night. Please join us for what promises to be a night of surprises!

On Sunday, February 24, 2008, at 8:00 pm EST, we will have our "award ceremony" to honor all the winners! This event will be complete with entertainment, “swag bags,” trophies, and maybe even a celebrity host!

If you haven't been following along, the categories are as follows:

1. Organizational Genius – Nominees for this category have gone to extraordinary lengths to keep their supplies both readily accessible and beautifully displayed. They revel in finding new and unusual ways of categorizing embellishments; however, their use may or may not be a priority.

2. Best Use of Kits - Nominees for this category are easily excited by the receipt of a Go. Be Creative. kit, and tear into the box as soon as it arrives on their doorstep. They use up every last button, brad, inch of ribbon, and scrap of paper and proudly display their creations in the gallery and/or message board for all to see.

3. Altering Fool – Nominees for this category love stepping outside the box and have brought paper crafting to a whole new level. No longer merely “scrapbookers,” they have morphed into “altered artists,” and no piece of wood or paper mache is safe when they’re around.

4. Comic Relief – Nominees for this category have frequently displayed their talent for keeping the message board community in hysterics. Whether via sarcasm, traditional jokes, or friendly banter, their antics are sure to bring about spontaneous, unexpected expectoration.

5. Miss Congeniality – Nominees for this category are well-liked by all message board peers. They go above and beyond to make sure that everyone is welcome, and their sweet and vivacious disposition is both admirable and inspiring.

6. Town Crier – Nominees for this category tend to display little vocal restraint. They love to gossip, leak information to the general public, and say exactly what they mean without sugar-coating. Regardless, they are loved by the entire community both for these reasons and in spite of them.
